Common questions
Do I need an OpenAI API key?
Yes — the AI chat, scoring, and knowledge base features all require your own OpenAI key. You pay OpenAI directly at their standard rates. GPT-4o Mini is used by default and is very cost-efficient for most sites.
Where is lead data stored?
All lead records, chat history, and scores live in your own WordPress database. Nothing is sent to NordicDataTools servers. Chat messages are sent to OpenAI as part of generating AI responses.
Does it work with page builders?
Yes. The chat widget loads independently of the page builder. It’s been tested with Elementor, Gutenberg, Divi, and WPBakery. The admin dashboard works in any WordPress environment.
Can I use LeadFlow AI together with SmartForm AI?
Yes — and they work better together. On Pro or higher both plugins share a Knowledge Base via a WordPress filter, so your chatbot and your form scoring AI draw from the same documents.
